Publication: Goal Attainment Scaling as an Outcome Measure for Randomized Controlled Trials: A Systematic Scoping Review
The group notes the use of GAS across diverse trial populations and settings.
Dr. Ruth Hubbard and her colleagues at the University of Queensland, Australia, and Princess Alexandra Hospital recently published a scoping review on Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) as an outcome measure in clinical trials. The group notes the use of GAS across diverse trial populations and settings; and recommends developing a cross-disciplinary guide to support the standardization of its implementation to increase the reliability of GAS data and comparability of the trial’s results.
