Kenneth Rockwood Awarded the Canadian Society for Clinical Investigation (CSCI) Award for Clinician Scientist Lifetime Achievement

Our Co-Founder and President, Dr. Kenneth Rockwood was awarded the Canadian Society for Clinical Investigation’s (CSCI) Award for Clinician Scientist Lifetime Achievement. This award is given to a Canadian MD or PhD medical scientist who has made significant contributions to new knowledge and is generally recognized in their field as an expert, innovative and at the forefront of research endeavours.

Dr. Rockwood is internationally recognized for his work, particularly for his pioneering work in Goal Attainment Scaling (GAS) and for developing the widely-used Clinical Frailty Scale. He has made a significant contribution to scientific literature with hundreds of peer-reviewed articles and contributions to leading medical research journals. In addition, he serves as an active staff physician at Nova Scotia Health and co-leads the Frailty and Elder Care Network
